I think it could mean Fireman’s place, because it could be where Laura came from since we see the golden Laura orb. Cooper and Fireman try to take Laura home, like Cooper said. So in the Return we don’t know how many times they have gone through crossing over, finding Laura, going back in time etc. Then there is a theory that Cooper in his goodness never stops trying to save Laura. Though people say that this scream’s power resulted in this alternate world to collapse and so Cooper and Laura sacrificed themselves to save the real world from darkness. Maybe then Laura told Coop to take her there. Exept the photo of Laura whispering to Coop. You see the lights going dark in the house, noise of electricity and the Lynch/Frost productions logo has no electricity sounds in it. The scream of horror became the heroes weapon and destroyed Judy and the evil electricity. Carrie was really Laura, she remembered everything and she used her scream agains that house where Sarah/Judy was inside. People say Sarah is Judy or Judy/some dark forces were present in the Palmer house in Part 18. One theory says that Cooper’s plan succeeded. There are a few quite amazing theories, which I present you now:
The ending of the Return isn’t nexessarily the ”bad ending”. And then there is the dark world of doppelgangers, Judy and woodsmen. There is the soap operaesque original series, filled with nostalgia, coffee and cherry pie, happiness. It resulted in much darker and artistically different Return.

It’s kind of like when Cooper entered Black Lodge, things were never the same. For me even the name ”Twin Peaks 2017” indicates that this is both a continuation and a reboot/standalone story. Season 3 would be quite different if it had been made in the 90s.
The mystery of who is BOB was changed to who is Judy. He rewrote things when Cooper went back in time and erased Laura’s murder and further plotlines.

Season 3 is Lynch in full control, it is his vision if Twin Peaks, perfect ideal Twin Peaks. And of course Lynch’s comeback in Season 2 Finale. Then there was no mystery left before the Windom Earle thing got it’s direction in the last few episodes.

For him the original series ended when Laura’s killer was revealed. I see them both as a bit different things in Twin Peaks universe.
